Welcome to the Asian Beats and Bites Festival! By signing up to perform at the festival, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.
1. Event Details
Dates:March 8th & 9th, 2024 Location: Brushy Creek Amphitheater, Hutto, Texas Performance Slots: Specific times for performances will be assigned and communicated in advance.
2. Eligibility
Performers must be individuals or groups showcasing talent that aligns with the cultural theme of the festival. All performers must submit a complete application form, including a description of the performance and any technical requirements.
3. Performance Guidelines
Performers are responsible for ensuring their performance content is family-friendly, respectful, and free of offensive material. Performances should reflect the festival's theme of celebrating Asian culture and diversity. Performers are expected to adhere to their assigned performance duration to ensure the event runs smoothly.
4. Technical Requirements
Performers must specify any technical needs (e.g., microphones, speakers, props) in the application form. The festival will provide basic sound and lighting systems; however, any additional equipment is the responsibility of the performer. Rehearsals or sound checks will be scheduled based on availability and must be coordinated in advance.
5. Safety and Conduct
Performers must adhere to all safety protocols established by the event organizers. Performers must conduct themselves professionally at all times. Disruptive behavior or failure to comply with instructions from event staff may result in removal from the lineup. All props, costumes, and equipment brought by performers must comply with safety standards.
6. Liability
Performers are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings. The festival is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage. The festival assumes no responsibility for injuries or accidents occurring during performances.
7. Promotion and Marketing
Performers grant the festival permission to use their name, likeness, and performance content (e.g., photos, videos) for promotional purposes. Performers are encouraged to promote their participation on their own social media and other platforms.
8. Cancellation Policy
If a performer needs to cancel, they must notify the event organizers at least 14 days prior to the event. The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule or cancel performances in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
9. Payment and Compensation
All performers participating in the festival must purchase a ticket for the event after receiving approval from the event committee. Performers will receive promotional recognition as outlined in the performer agreement. Monetary compensation will not be provided unless explicitly agreed upon prior to the event.
10. Agreement to Terms
By submitting an application and participating in the festival, performers agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from performing and removal from the event.
